Night flying

Was no longer night current, so flew up to Orange County to do some night landings.

There is nothing more peaceful than a cloudless night sky, smooth air, the drone of the engine in the background, moon above reflecting off the lakes below, with the NYC night skyline in the distance...

I just looked at my logbook and I was at KMGJ that very same night doing night training. I think we left as you were coming in because we were on our own for a while (was doing night training for my private(.
